ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on the demand of Punjab government has increased share of Punjab water by 25000 cusecs for the Rabi season.According to IRSA sources, Punjab Irrigation department had filed a request of increase in water share for Rabi season. Since no other province needs water at this time hence the request has been fulfilled. Now Punjab is getting 80000 cusecs of water on daily basis so that it could meet its requirement for Punjab Rabi crops.The outflow of water from Tarbela and Mangla has also been enhanced.
