All commitments with the people of Swat and Malakand would be fulfilled: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said conversion of Kala Dhaka from tribal area into a settled district is another landmark achievement of the present Government which will go a long way in addressing the problems of the people of this area.
According to PM House Spokesman, while meeting with the Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Awais Ahmad Ghani at his Chamber in the Parliament House, the Prime Minister directed to complete the formalities at the earliest and initiate the process for holding classes of Swat Cadet College as per his commitment with the people of Swat and Malakand.
The Prime Minister said it is hallmark of the strength and vibrancy of the democracy that despite all political wrangling and heated debates, each bill has been passed by the Parliament unanimously. He further said it is beauty of the democracy that it achieves unanimity within diversity of views.The Prime Minister reiterated that all commitments with the people of Swat and Malakand would be fulfilled. He said complete rehabilitation of Malakand people remains priority focus despite economic constraints created by the recent devastating floods. He also directed the Economic Affairs Division to sort out release of housing compensation funds to the province.Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa apprised the Prime Minister of the law and order situation and also discussed administrative matters concerning the province in the meeting – O nlinenews
