PM vows stern action against target killers

KARACHI:Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has assured that the government will take stern action against target killers irrespective of their political affiliation.He held out this assurance to a MQM delegation, which called on him under the leadership of Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Dr Farooq Sattar at the Governor House.
Governor Sindh, DR Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping, Babar Ghouri, former city nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal, and Sindh Minister for IT, Haroon Raza were also present.The prime minister asked the three coalition partners, the PPP, the MQM, and the ANP, to sit together and chalk out a joint strategy for restoration and maintenance of law and order in the city.The MQM delegation, according to sources, demanded an immediate action against culprits involved in killing of 13 people in Shershah Market last week.
The prime minister assured the delegation of immediate action against the terrorists involved in Shershah incident.The MQM leaders also apprised the prime minister on their reservations about Sindh Home Minister, DR Zulfikar Mirza, who has been under fire by the second largest coalition partner, sources said – Nation
