KARACHI: Former Test Captain Shoaib Malik has been named to lead PIA in the Quaid-e-Azam Cricket Trophy starting simultaneously at six centres of the country from Saturday.Deputy General Manager PIA Sports and former Test opener Shoaib Muhammad while announcing the team on Wednesday, said Faisal Iqbal will be Malik’s deputy.Team will be selected from among the 20 as per the availability of the players from the national duty.
Malik was not considered in the Pakistan team for upcoming series against South Africa starting from October 25 in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
