Journalists stage demo against allegations

LAHORE : Journalists on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration against the allegations leveled against Jang Group and Geo’s anchors Kamran Khan, Ansar Abbasi and Hamid Mir in Punjab Assembly.The protesting journalists on the occasion said no one gag the voice of truth and no deal will be made on the freedom of journalism.“Those calling the respected journalists India’s agents are themselves the agents,” they said adding state terrorism against Geo and Jang will not be tolerated.The journalists demanded of the government to sack Pakistan People’s Party leader Raja Riaz – Sananews
