Pakistan receives aid commitments of US $ 1468.18 million

ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): Pakistan has received aid commitments of US $ 1468.18 million from various countries and donor organizations for the flood-affected people till Sept 27. According to a data released by the Ministry of Finance here on Wednesday, the total commitments and indicative foreign assistance received from various countries and donors, as on Sept 27 stood at  US $ 1468.18 million, which include US $ 411.28 million as grants, $ 10 million soft loans and $ 709.09 million in kinds commitments.Countries with the highest commitments are Canada $ 33 million,European Union US $ 87.50 million, Saudi Arabia  US $ 105.29 million,in kinds $ 67 million, Saudi Fund for Development US $ 14.70 million,US/USAID $ 269.50 million, UK/DFID US $ 115.00 million, Sweden US $ 23.01 million, Turkey, 26.61 million, Australia US $ 67.50 million, Germany US $ 31.25 million, Denmark US $ 33.00 million, IDB 11.02 million,Japan US $ 19.79 00 million, Norway US $ 19.00 million and China US $ 20.00 million and Iran US $ 101.20 – App
