ISLAMABAD, Sept 20 (APP): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Monday that in democratic system the procedure for the change of governments is laid down in the constitution and the sitting government would definitely complete its tenure. Talking to a private television channel the minister said that elected government was pursuing a policy of tolerance and reconciliation and it has the courage to face critics. He said that in all the state structures there always remains the room for improvement and an overnight shift to ideal conditions was not possible.Kaira said the elected government was making allout efforts to ensure good governance by taking all the stake holders on board in decision making.

He said the government does not hesitate to acknowledge and correct if a mistake is committed by it.
The minister said that government was implementing the decisions of superior courts adding it was not making them the matter of prestige. Responding to a question about reopening of NRO cases the Minister said that whosoever has the pending cases against him will have to face the courts’ procedure adding it is up to the courts to decide their fate. However one cannot be termed guilty until the charges against him are proved in the courts, he added – APP
