KARACHI, Sept 15 (APP)- A Dubai-Karachi flight NL-737 of a private airliner carrying 120 people made a safe emergency landing at Karachi Airport here on Wednesday.The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sources told APP that six to seven flights had left the Dubai Airport and later some pieces of a tyre were found on the run-way there. It was suspected that the broken pieces of the tyre belonged to flight NL-737. Therefore, as precaution the flight was put to low-landing to check its tyres. Upon being satisfied about the condition of the flight’s tyres it was allowed to make an emergency landing. It landed safely. The CAA also took all precautionary measures as the ambulance service of the Authority was also put on alert and the fire tenders were also called in – APP
