Askari Bank’s profit up

KARACHI, Aug 24 (APP): Askari Bank Ltd has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs 714.221 million for the half year ending June 30, 2010 but did not declare any dividend or bonus.According to financial results of the bank despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here on Monday, the pre-tax profit also improved to Rs 1.084 million as earning per share surged to Rs 1.13 compared to Rs 0.95 in June 2009 – APP
