Imran khan has been stirring the political scenario of Pakistan for quite some time now and has managed to create quite a name for him. In a country such as Pakistan, everybody is critical of everybody and seldom finds anything good to say about anybody. Much has been written and said about the political capabilities of Imran Khan and his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). But then, our doubts and qualms are understandable.
We have been deceived too long as it is. We have been promised and forgotten too much already to fall into such traps now. But even in the darkest of times, hope lives on. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. For the nation of Pakistan, that hope comes forth in the form of the political leadership of Imran Khan.
Imran khan is a leader of the youth. He rightfully represents the youth of Pakistan who has taken it upon itself to rid this nation of all tribulations. With the current lot of corrupt, incompetent and ineffectual politicians, Imran Khan is the only hope. What Pakistan needs now is a leadership of action rather than words alone because the past 64 years have shown us that words mean nothing.
The reason why Khan is admired by the lot is because he has not succumbed to the dirty politics of our country. He is rendered great respect by the people because he has managed to create a name and an honorable position for himself based on his own achievements; he doesn’t have a strong family line to support him, he didn’t get leadership as a legacy.
Khan does not have a political mind; he has a mind of principles. Probably that is why he is disliked amongst the corrupt fraudulent leaders of our country, because he doesn’t believe in dirty politics. But it cannot be denied that although khan is famous amongst the youth, he is not really known amongst the majority population who votes; including the students of the government schools and colleges, the unions of teachers, clerks, industrial workers, farmers, and even traders.
He needs to realize that it’s this group of people and not the literate class who form the bulk of voters. It has been long since Pakistan saw a true sincere leader. About time someone stepped forth and staked the claim. Imran Khan is just that person. – Zainab Tariq
