Girls star Jemima Kirke, who plays the incorrigible Jessa on the hit HBO series, has found herself in a new role for Stone Fox Bride’s new collection.
The 27-year-old actress gets intimate with jewelry designer Pamela Love, 30, as the pair play passionate newlyweds, embracing with a tender kiss.Ms Kirke, who gave birth to her second child in November last year, also poses nude underneath a sheer white lace dress for the lookbook.Stone Fox Bride’s founder and designer, Molly Rosen Guy, explained to Into The Gloss: ‘Jemima is a painter-turned-actress who believes that, in her past life, she was a child prostitute and junkie.’She added, in brackets: ‘(In real life she wears fancy cashmere sweaters and is a Brooklyn mother-of-two married to a nice Jewish lawyer.)’
Meanwhile, Mrs Rosen Guy, who is the former beauty and style editor for Nylon magazine, said of Ms Love: ‘Pam’s a wild-hearted Navajo-inspired jewelry designer and Joan Didion aficionado.’The brand’s motto steadfastly declares ‘F*** Weddings,’ so it comes as no surprise the new collection’s lookbook also features two bearded men in wedding dresses – one also naked underneath a sheer lace shift.Shot by photographer Cass Bird, ‘a beautiful, electrifying, creative force who has captured the zeitgeist with her raw, omnivorous eye for feminine truth and beauty,’ says Mrs Rosen Guy, the lookbook also stars designer Mandy Coon.
