ISLAMABAD: On the eve of the Independence Day of Pakistan, High Commissioner Wajid Shamsul Hasan visited the families of three Pakistani young men who laid their lives during the rioting in Birmingham.he High Commissioner paid glowing tributes to the families for their remarkable contribution in maintaining peace among the communities by appealing for calm and restraint instead of revenge and retaliation.
The High Commissioner separately visited Ghazanfar Ali, father of Shahzad Ali and Abdul Musavir and Tariq Jehan, father of Haroon Jehan. He offered Fateha for the departed souls and offered condolences to the bereaved families, according to a message received here from London on Sunday.ppreciating the courage and tolerance of the families, Hasan deeply acknowledged the role o families in preventing the rise of further conflicts among the communities.
The bodies of three victims are likely to be released on coming Thursday for the funerals.The High Commissioner was accompanied by his wife Zarina Hasan, Consulate General, Birmingham Dr. Saeed Khan Mohmand and Head of Chancery Aftab Hasan khan. – Dailytimes
