Colombia: Authorities say a river swollen with heavy rains swept a passenger bus off a highway in Colombia’s mountainous northwest, killing at least 16 people and leaving four others missing.Local Red Cross director Juan Manuel Osorio says the bus with 20 people on board was ripped apart by rocks and mud from the Chinchina river. No survivors have been found.The bus was en route from the regional city of Manizales to the capital of Bogota when the accident happened late Wednesday.Red Cross spokesman Cesar Uruena said Thursday that bodies and pieces of wreckage were strewn along a ravine beneath the highway. – Yahoonews
