RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah congratulated Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Naif, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, on the successful completion of Haj 2010.The congratulation came in a reply sent to Prince Naif. In the cable, King Abdullah said: “We have completed the Haj this year with great success and enabled pilgrims to perform their Haj rituals with ease and comfort. We thank Allah Almighty for the success and congratulate you, the members of the Haj Supreme Committee and the workers in all sectors whose efforts were at the desired levels. We always ask Almighty Allah to help us in serving our religion and our nation.”
The king added that the Kingdom has dedicated its resources to serve pilgrims to enable them to complete the rituals with ease despite the participation of 2.78 million pilgrims this year.“The new Zamzam water supply project, the partial operation of the Mashair railway, the completion of the fifth phase of the Jamrat Bridge project and other projects were of a great help in the success of Haj this year,” the king said.The king also congratulated Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah and health workers for a disease-free Haj this year – Arabnews
