SRINAGAR: The authorities in the occupied Kashmir have invoked the draconian law Public Safety Act against APHC leader Yasmeen Raja and detaining her in Srinagar Central Jail.It merits a mention here that the notorious law authorizes the administration to detain any person for a period up to two years without producing him to any court. Over 300 Hurriyet leaders and activists are presently languishing in jails under this draconian law.Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani has emphasized that the observance of the Black Day, yesterday, should serve as a wake up call for the international community that should come forward in an effective way to resolve the Kashmir dispute, without any further delay.Syed Ali Gilani in an interview in Srinagar asked India to shun its rigid stance on Jammu and Kashmir and allow Kashmiris to exercise their inalienable right to self-determination.Gilani said that the ongoing liberation movement would continue till its logical end – Sananews
