KULA LUMPUR: The fifth Islamic Conference of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (ICMHESR) will discuss higher education and scientific research issues relate with the Muslim world which is going to be held from 19th to 21st, October 2010 in Kuala Lumpur.An eleven member of Pakistani delegation will attend the Conference.Pakistani High Commissioner in Malaysia, Mr. Masood Khalid said that the three days ICMHESR would be held on theme, “Enculturation of Quality in Academia, Research, and Innovation towards Prosperity of Ummah”.He added that it will be provided an opportunity for ISESCO member States and relevant Organizations to discuss various key issues pertaining to higher education and scientific research in the Islamic World to evaluate and follow up on the implementation of the Strategy for the Promotion of Science, Technology, and Innovation in Islamic Countries.He has said that 5th Conference is likely to discuss various issues relating to higher education and scientific research in the Muslim world and to learn from Malaysian experience in areas like the Quality Assurance system, (EQUIVALENTS), research and development (Myra), R & D products, innovation-related innovations and other relevant materials.He said ICMHESR is an excellent platform for all parties to identify emerging trends and technologies, which are of excellent quality and could be incorporated into their organizations’ requirements.
