US Adds Pakistani Taliban to Terrorism Blacklist

The United States has added the Pakistani Taliban to its blacklist of foreign terrorist organizations, freezing the group’s assets and banning its members from travel to the U.S.In a statement, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the group, known as the Tehrik-e-Taliban, or TTP, meets the criteria to be placed on the list.
