A woman who urinated on a Blackpool war memorial has been arrested – three days after she fled court.
Wendy Lewis, who was jeered by veterans as she attended Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on Friday, evaded sentencing by going on the run.
A police spokesman confirmed she had been arrested at 2305 BST on Monday.
The 32-year-old, who was caught on CCTV relieving herself and performing a sex act on a man nearby, will appear before the town’s magistrates later.
Lewis, of Princess Street, Blackpool, had been found guilty at an earlier hearing of outraging public decency.
