ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday appreciated the services of Association of Physicians of Pakistani descent of North America (APPNA) in facilitating transfer of health-care expertise and resources to the deserving communities. He was talking to Dr. Javed Suleman, President of Pakistani American physician organization APPNA, who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President also appreciated the association for nurturing young physicians, promoting talent of Pakistanis and to strengthen Pak-US relations. He briefed the President about various activities of APPNA in health-care, research, education, and other humanitarian activities. Dr. Asim Hussain was also present during the meeting. – APP
