International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has named Pakistani actress Veena Malik and her husband Asad Khattak ambassadors for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The couple would visit the US for fundraising.

Exclusively talking , Veena Malik and her husband said they would visit different countries as part of the Red Cross efforts to raise funds for the IDPs. They will also meet representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) of United Nations (UN).  “I feel proud to address the issues prevailing in Pakistan. I and my husband want to work for human welfare,” the renowned actress said. – SAMAA
