She may be on her way to owning a business empire but Lucy Mecklenburgh has shown she is not too posh to walk down the street in her rollers.
The 21-year-old blonde’s second boutique may already be open, but that didn’t stop the Essex starlet from throwing a bash and inviting all of her celebrity pals to stock up on goodies in-store.Single mum Chantelle Houghton even popped in and was seen leaving clutching some goodies in Lucy’s trademark pink bags, presumably none of the gifts were for former husband-to-be drag queen Alex Reid. Lucy was spotted heading to her second boutique with a ‘means business’ look on her face and clutching a large handbag.
Luckily the set up was mostly completed when she got there, with rows of glasses stacked on the Essex boutique counter.It must have been a relief for the starlet who told her Twitter followers she had spent most of the day getting preened ahead of the party.At one Lucy even took a break from getting ready and was seen necking a glass of pink fizz as she surveyed her newest part of her business empire.]
Famous pal Chantelle was, perhaps slightly embarrassingly early, but that didn’t seem to put her off necking some free booze before perusing the shop.In fact, it looked like Chantelle didn’t even bother to wait for anyone to turn up before fleeing with her purchases.And although Lucy may have walked down the street with her rollers, she slipped into something a lot more appropriate for the bash, namely a backless floor-length gown.
Even fiancé turned Mario Falcone couldn’t peel his eyes from his lady as the couple did what they do best, posed for waiting photographers.The official opening was over the weekend with Lucy tweeting: ‘Me & the @lucys_boutique Team!
