255 traders’ associations support sit-in plan in Karachi on June 26

KARACHI: As many as 255 traders’ associations and market associations of Karachi have announced the sit-in program of June 26 at 5.00p.m in front of Memon Mosque near Bolton Market.

The sit-in is being staged against lawlessness that has destroyed the business. According to a press release of All Pakistan Organization of Small Traders & Cottage Industries, the following associations have extended the support to staging sit-in:

Pak Alliance of Market Association, Printing Association, Marriott Road Small Traders, Sindh Sarafa Association, Anjuman Tajran-e-Pakistan, Jhuna Market Association, Zargara Association, Khhori Garden Traders, Tariq Road Traders’ Association, Nazimabad Printing Market, Anjuman Tajiran Quaidabad, Saddar Alliance of Market Associations, Sher Shah Kabari Market, Karachi Rickshaw Taxi Association, Soldier Bazaar Market Association, Pak Meezan Traders, Gulshan-e-Hadeed Traders’ Association, Liaquatabad Traders’ Alliance, UP Morr Small Traders’ Group and others. The leaders of all these associations have appealed other traders’ organizations to join the sit-in on June 26 and show the unity against killing and kidnapping for ransom of traders, and extortion. – Brecorder
