Samsung Electronics Pakistan is all set to introduce their latest flagship smartphone Samsung S5 in Pakistan. The Korean tech giant has chosen Ufone as the telecommunication partner for the launch of Galaxy S5 & Gear Fit.

Samsung Electronics Pakistan also announced an industry-first Accidental Coverage+ program on its Smartphones in Pakistan. The program will cover screen breakage, liquid damage and numerous other types of damages to the device.

Both companies are confident that this partnership will bear fruit and deliver exquisite end product and services to the customers – something they are both well known for in the industry.

For those unaware, the water and dust resilient Galaxy S5 is being termed as the “best Android phone” till date; featuring a heart rate monitor, finger print scanner and many other innovations.

Camera: 16MP rear
Processor: 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801
Memory: 2GB RAM, 16GB storage

Weight: 145 grams

According to the sources, the latest Samsung Galaxy is expected to be priced between Rs. 90,000 – Rs. 105,000 in Pakistan; the official price is still awaited to be announced.

Speaking at the event Mr. FaridUllah Jan, Head of Mobile Phone Business at Samsung Electronics Pakistan said, “Galaxy S5 is the latest addition to our Galaxy series smartphones. With every new smartphone, Samsung is changing the way people interact with technology. Our products are always feature-rich and then there is a whole lot of effort that goes into humanizing that experience of interaction with technology. We are innovating to make this interaction more meaningful and this is what makes us one of the the most loved brands in the world.”
