A 3-day polio vaccination drive began in the provincial capital on Monday.

According to the Health Department Punjab, 1800 teams are administering polio vaccine to 772,000 children under five years of age in the city.
The drive has been launched after the polio samples of the environment in the metropolitan city were found positive.

Vaccine counters in the public sector hospitals and basic health units have also been set up while polio drive in the province will be launched from August 17. –APP
