Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif has said that there is no reason to be worried about the recent attitude by India because the army is capable of responding to any aggression.

Talking to reporters after President Mamnoon Hussain’s address to a joint sitting of the both houses of parliament on Thursday.
He said the Pakistani Army and law-enforcement agencies knew well how to respond to aggression. In reply to a question, the army chief said the security situation in the country had improved and it would continue to improve in the days to come. Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani who was present on the occasion informed Gen Sharif about the functioning of parliament.

The army chief appreciated the performance of parliament. The two informally exchanged views on the Zarb-i-Azb and Karachi operations and the overall law and order situation in the country.
