On the 8th, 9th and 10th of Muharramul Haram, (2nd, 3rd and 4th of November), processions in connection with Ashura will be taken out from Nishtar Park to Hussainian Iranian Imambargah Kharadar.

According to the statement issued from DIGP Traffic Karachi office here on Wednesday, it will be mandatory to get stickers to be displayed on windscreen of their vehicles.
The law enforcement agencies, district administration etc (govt vehicles), ambulances and media organisations will submit their applications for stickers by October 31 in the office of the DIGP/Traffic (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters Garden, Aga Khan-III Road, Karachi and obtain stickers on November 1. Government organizations will provide departmental request letter mentioning vehicles list, while ambulance services, media etc will provide attested copies of registration book, CNIC of the owner, driver’s CNIC, driving license and three photographs for obtaining the stickers. However, the vehicles of scouts, welfare organizations, sabils, nazar and niaz distributing persons shall submit their application forms along with below mentioned documents and articles at Scouts Rabta Council Office at Numaish (Contact NO. 0213-5499955) from 29th to 31st of October, and get the receipt.

The stickers can be collected from office of the DIGP/Traffic (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters Garden, Aga Khan-III Road, Karachi from 1st to 3rd of November. The below mentioned documents (attested photo copies) must be provided for obtaining traffic entry pass for procession. (media, ambulance service, scouts, nazar, niaz etc). No sticker will be issued without provision of documents and articles like registration nook of the vehicle; NIC of the vehicle owner; driving license and three attested photographs of the driver. To get the stickers for scouts organizations, welfare organizations, sabils, nazar & niaz distributing vehicles etc, original CNIC, receipt of Scout Rabita Council and letter pad of the organization will be shown and copy of CNIC and SRC original receipt will be deposited for collecting sticker.
Similarly, law enforcement agencies, district administration (govt. vehicles), ambulance and media organizations etc officials will show CNIC, departmental ID Card and letter pad of the department and copy of CNIC and departmental ID Card will be deposited for collecting sticker. No sticker will be issued on 10th Muharram. Pillion riding: Meanwhile, the Sindh Home Department has under Section 144 CrPC imposed complete ban on pillion riding of motorcycle/scooter from 8th to 10th of Muharramul Haram (2nd to 4th of November) in 10 districts of the province of Sindh; Hyderabad, Sanghar, Khairpur, Sukkur and Karachi East/South/West/Central/Malir/Korangi.

The ban shall not be applicable on the women, children below the age of 12 years, senior citizens, journalists, personnel of law enforcing agencies/security agencies in uniform and employees of essential services.
