Great Pakistan squash player Hashim Khan has passed away after protracted illness in United States last night. Khan was admitted in a hospital and was suffering from illness from last six months.
Hashim Khan won the British Open seven times between 1951 and 1958 and was considered as one of the greatest athletes of all time. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned former Squash player Hashim Khan. In his message, the PM prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude. -SAMAA
