GENEVA: A veteran Pakistan Air force Pilot, Squadron Leader (retd) Muhammad Mujahid, received a distinctive award from Pilatus Aircraft Limited in Switzerland for completing 6000 flight hours on Pilatus PC-7 Aircraft; a feat unmatched by any individual pilot in the world. Pilatus is world’s leading manufacturer of single-engine turboprop aircraft and the only Swiss company to develop build and sell aircraft and training systems on every continent.Mujahid joined Pakistan Air Force in 1969 and honorably served the nation for 18 years before joining the UAE Air College in 1987. For the last 23 years he has been flying PC-7 Aircraft, gradually accumulating 6000 hours.
In his mastery of flying this aircraft, he has even surpassed the experts of Pilatus Aircraft Limited, the manufacturer itself.Acknowledging the hospitality of Pilatus and accepting the award, Mujahid attributed his achievement to his mentors in Pakistan Air Force and his friends in the UAE.
