KARACHI: Bilal Shaikh, security officer of President Asif Ali Zardari, died here on Wednesday in a bomb blast, said a spokesman of the Sindh Police.
The spokesman said Bilal Shaikh was travelling in his double cabin vehicle and had alighted in Gurumandir area to purchase fruit. As he stepped out of the vehicle, the blast occurred killing him and one of his companions as well as the fruit vendor. He stated that eight persons, including policemen, also sustained injuries. – APP
