ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would issue success notification of all victorious contestants of election 2013 today (on Wednesday).
Media reports said that success notification of those who had not submitted details of electoral expenditures would not be issued, as time of submission of expenditures details has come to an end.All the independent candidates are bound to declare their political affiliations with any political party within three days after the issuance of the said notification otherwise they would be considered independent.
The ECP would not extend any monetary help to National Data Base and Regulatory Authority (NADRA) regarding software and Government of Pakistan would bear all expenses of verification process, report added.Sources said that when any independent candidate would announce join political party, the chief of that party would solemnly have to submit certificate mentioning that this (name of independent candidate) has joined my (Party name) party, sources added.
It is pertinent to mention that the independents have gained importance, as the decision of reserved seats would also be taken after the participation of independents. It merits to be mentioned here that election tribunal would resume hearings against the appeals instead of the ECP after the notification. – OnlineNews
