KARACHI: Interior Minister Malik Habib Khan has said that the caretaker government is keenly monitoring law and order situation in Karachi, and would remove reservations of all the political parties.
Addressing a press conference along with MQM leadership at party’s headquarters in Karachi on Sunday‚ Malik said he has been focusing on situation in Karachi and would improve the security of political parties and leaders.He said a high level meeting will be called today (Monday) to address the issue and the reservations of all the political parties.He assured MQM leaders that law and order situation in Karachi will be improved at all costs.
Malik Habib Khan has said that not only Muttahida Qaumi Movement but other political parties were also being targeted by the terrorists.He said that correct use of vote will eliminate those who want to sabotage elections.On the occasion, Farooq Sattar said conspiracies were being hatched to prevent the MQM from taking part in elections, adding the party would participate in the electoral process at every cost. – OnlineNews
