The Sindh government, complying with a Pakistani Supreme Court (SC) order, had removed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Fayyaz Laghari and Deputy Inspector General of Police for East Karachi Aleem Jaffery from their posts on March 6 and their services were handed over to the federal government.
Additional IG Police (CID) Ghulam Shabbir Shaikh has been given additional charge of IGP Sindh while DIG Admin Imran Yaqoob gets additional charge of DIG East. – DunyaNews
