ISLAMABAD: PIA’s first Hajj flight PK-2501 carrying 416 intending pilgrims will leave for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to start a month-long pre-Haj operation to airlift Pakistani pilgrims for Hajj.
Another Hajj flight PK-2601 will also depart for Jeddah from Peshawar with 416 passengers on board, official sources said on Tuesday.The Hajj flight from Islamabad will be seen off by PIA Deputy Managing Director Captain Junaid Younus, while the Peshawar flight will be seen off by Corporate Services Director Mamoon Rashid. Similarly, the first Hajj flights from Lahore, Quetta and Karachi will leave for Jeddah on September 20. – Dailytimes
