KARACHI: The 12th ITCN Asia 2012 International Exhibition and Conferences commenced here at Karachi Expo Centre on Tuesday.
Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Sindh Information Technology Secretary Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui, Information Technology Sindh Director General Muhammad Yousuf, PTA IT Director, Dr Khawar, ClickSat (Pvt) Ltd President Jehangir Khan (former squash champion); FAO UN Representative Dr Kevin Gallagher and e-Commerce Gateway President Dr Khursheed Nizam were also present.
The chief guest and guests of honour visited the stalls, met domestic and foreign exhibitors and witnessed the products that are catered to various ages, needs and requirements. ICT products and services, telecommunications equipments, systems, networking, IT solutions, software and programmes, office automation, multimedia devices and digital products are being displayed at ITCN Asia 2012.
The major participating companies include HK Shah; 3M Pakistan; INTEL, Transworld Enterprises, SuperNet etc. Participants from more than 15 countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Ireland, Korea, Lebanon, Middle East, Nepal, Singapore, Sweden, UK, USA etc are gathered at the platform of 12th ITCN Asia. The 3-day event is organised by e-Commerce Gateway Pakistan; the only UFI (Paris) approved event organiser of Pakistan. – Dailytimes
