Whitney Port insists every runway show she produces is ‘more of a rush’ every time.The reality TV star-turned-fashion designer showed her Whitney Eve Spring/Summer 13 line at New York Fashion week yesterday.
Whitney took to her blog to thank those around her for their continued support.’Wow, what a whirlwind— we just wrapped the Whitney Eve Spring 2013 runway show! It went off just as I had hoped it would,’ she exclaimed on whitneyport.celebuzz.com.’Every runway show we produce is more of a rush than the last. I truly love every step of production, from design to casting, picking out the music to picking out a hairstyle and, of course, the actual show. A huge thanks to everyone involved— I couldn’t have done it without you! (sic).’
Whitney showed a feminine line at the Lincoln Center tents that boasted colourful printed dresses, cute sweaters, fringing and lightweight cigarette pants.Whitney emerged beaming in a grey and white patterned mini dress teamed with a black blazer as she stepped out on the catwalk after the show finished.The blonde star has previously revealed the type of girl she designs for.
‘I design for what my style aesthetic is, what I want to wear, my sisters, my best friends,’ she explained. ‘The Whitney Eve girl is someone who loves fashion, has a lot of fun with it; is not afraid to take risks and loves textiles, colour and patterns.’ – MSN
