It’s a show that is famed for it’s outfits as well as it’s talent, and tonight (Tuesday) the ladies of Strictly Come Dancing proved why.
Victoria Pendleton, Kimberley Walsh and Denise Van Outen showed off their incredible figures at the launch of the new series in London, and their outfits just so happened to be drenched in tassels.Olympian Pendleton, 31, arrived at the event wearing a barely-there glitzy gold outfit, and was carrying her gold and silver medals too.She was matching Walsh in the outfit department, as she too chose to wear a gold ensemble that featured cut-out detailing.
As Pendleton smiled for the cameras and held up her latest achievements, it was clear to see that the brunette didn’t need to hold her stomach in.She teamed her tasselled garment with gold strapped shoes and completed her look with statement earrings.Girls Aloud singer Walsh, didn’t show off as much of her stomach but did flash her leg with a thigh-high split. Her hair had been perfectly blow-dried into huge bouncy curls and as she posed with her hand on her hip, the 30-year-old star looked excited to be there. She was followed on the red carpet by Denise Van Outen who looked simply stunning in a silver tasselled dress.
The mother-of-one wore her blonde hair in a side ponytail and sported red lipstick as she flashed a huge grin for photographers. Jerry Hall gave the younger stars a run for their money when she arrived at the launch wearing a bright red strappy number. The 56-year-old American model posed up a storm on the red carpet, showing off her incredible figure. She teamed it with silver heels and a statement bangle as she grinned for the cameras. The mother-of-four was followed by Fern Britton who stood out in an off-the-shoulder purple dress and gold shoes. The TV presenter looked particularly pleased with her figure in the tasselled and sequin-covered garment which she teamed with silver earrings and a huge smile.
Someone who opted against wearing tassels was 36-year-old Lisa Riley, who wore a blue sparkly dress instead. The bubbly brunette posed with both hands on her hips in the long-sleeved number and looked very pleased to be taking part in the BBC1 show.Last but not least of the female contestants was Dani Harmer, who is known for her role as Tracey Beaker. The actress chose to wear pink, red and peach tasselled dress that showed off some of her body art.The professional dancers of the show also took the opportunity to model their incredible figures at the launch.
It seems the colour of the night for the ladies was pink, with Aliona Vilani leading the way in a cutaway asymmetrical dress that showed off her glowing tan and enviable curves. The professional dancers of the show also took the opportunity to model their incredible figures at the launch. It seems the colour of the night for the ladies was pink, with Aliona Vilani leading the way in a cutaway asymmetrical dress that showed off her glowing tan and enviable curves. The ladies were joined by Kristina Rihanoff and the male dancers of the series too.
