LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Women’s Wing Punjab President Saloni Bokhari has strongly condemned the reported incident of electricity theft at the Minar-e-Pakistan camp office of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The camp was being provided electricity directly from a transformer near the camp. More than 16 pedestal fans, four room coolers and luxurious lighting with hundreds of bulbs inside the camp were being provided electricity illegally. She said the PTI strongly condemned such acts of the self-acclaimed Khadim-e-Alaa who claimed to be the well-wisher of the people of Punjab.
“If the CM of a province will use ‘kundas’, what can one expect from a common man?” Bokhari asked. “It was an extremely deplorable act by any ruler; to use a facility and not pay for it. It is the domestic electricity consumer who will ultimately be forced to pay for this stolen electricity.” – Dailytimes
