Govt committed to development of Southern Punjab: PM

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday said the government is committed to bring less developed areas of Southern Punjab at par with other developed urban centers of the country.He said that he has asked the parliamentarians belonging to these areas to bring development projects for the upcoming phases of rehabilitation and reconstruction.The Prime Minister was talking to Syed Tanvir ul Hassan Gilani, former minister, who called on him here at the PM House on Friday.
Syed Tanvir ul Hassan lauded the Prime Minister for his leadership and policy of reconciliation. The policy, he added has paved the way for political and economic stability in the country.
