ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said that conflicts between the state’s institutions would not come up if they remained within their constitutional and legal limits, Media reported.
Speaking to a delegation from the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the prime minister said that a constitution was imperative to keep a country’s unity intact.He further said that the government was engaged within its constitutional boundaries in efforts to strengthen democracy in the country.The prime minister also referred to the Pakistan People’s Party’s services in the movement to restore the judiciary and said the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif should “learn from the country’s history”.
