Pakistani actor Veena Malik will be playing the role of a fashion supermodel, based somewhat on the life story of fashion superstar Naomi Campbell in Navin Batra’s new film “Supermodel,” Media reported on Thursday.
According to Director Batra, Veena is perfect for the role as she has been through many phases in her career and had been part of many controversies.“Professionally also she is a successful model and actress and is the apt choice for the film,” Batra was quoted as in the Media report.The Media report further stated that “Campbell is a British Model who is compared to Veena Malik, as both are established as the most recognisable and in-demand by the fashion world.”According to the report, Veena will be paired opposite Indian actor Ashmit Patel. – Tribune
