ISLAMABAD: Electricity rates have been reduced for the first time in the history of the country as Ministry of Water and Power issued notification of Rs 2.67 per unit decrease in the power tariff for domestic consumers on Thursday.
It was decided in the Energy Conference that electricity rates will be reduced up to 100 units.Officials said that the reduction will only be implemented for the domestic consumers. The new tariff will be implemented in the next electricity bills. – Nation
