LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the government has been making efforts for regional peace and stability through trade with China, India, Iran and Afghanistan.
“Progress on balance of trade with India, Pak-Afghan Transit Trade and energy projects with Iran will help the country achieve cherished goal of stability in the region”, he said while talking to print-media journalists during a meeting here on Sunday.Gilani said friendly relations with the neighbouring countries ensure regional harmony, stressing that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit would strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and India.
