The cast of the film ‘London Paris New York’ hit the town recently to promote their new film and to let their hair down after months of hard work.
The team was in Delhi and spent the evening dancing and interacting with Delhiites. Lead actors Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari, were spotted along with producers Goldie Behl and Shrishti Arya, and Anu Menon, the director of the film, at the filmi do. Goldie said, “Ali is a multi-talented person, and we are lucky to have him not just as an actor in the movie, but also because he gave some melodious compositions for it.” And as if to validate this point, Ali then sang some songs from the movie along with Aditi. Ali, who composed music for a film for the first time says it was tough to compose for “London, Paris New York”.
“It was tough. I used to write and compose for my albums, but this was a film and the songs were written and composed according to the situation, derived and given to you by the director and writer,” said Ali. He says he got full creative freedom to explore his work. “I didn’t have to remake any songs. Whatever I sent the producers and director, they liked it.” The actor made his Bollywood debut in the critically acclaimed ‘Tere Bin Laden’. – PT
