Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh in Washington for IMF-WB meeting

WASHINGTON: Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, who has  arrived here to attend IMF-World Bank meetings, will brief his interlocutors and counterparts from other countries about Islamabad’s development and economic recovery policies, officials said.Besides, meeting leaders of international financial institutions, Dr Shaikh will also discuss bilateral economic cooperation with U.S. officials.He will also interact with the U.S. think tanks and Washington-based Pakistani media during his stay.Dr Hafeez Shaikh is leading a team of top Pakistani economic managers to various forums of the IMF and World Bank and other financial institutions. – APP
