LONDON: Accusing the present ANP leadership of misguiding Pakhtuns, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that to win the 2008 elections ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan was provided several million dollars by the US.“If I was against Pakhtuns the why was their support for the MQM when it announced its day of mourning across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” Altaf said.he MQM Chief is held a video conference in which he said that innocent people were tortured and slaughtered by terrorists in the past days. “If I was not the chief of my party I would have been killed or taken someone’s life” he said during his address.

Altaf Hussain said the Quran was for reading and obtaining knowledge.Altaf Hussain said statements made by TV anchors that they would not let the MQM remain in sole power in Karachi were an act of dictatorship.
Agencies Add: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that foreign elements are involved in Karachi mayhem and target killing and agenda behind the conspiracy is to break up Pakistan.Speaking at an emergency meeting of the MQM coordination committee here in London, Altaf Hussain said that foreign powers are hatching conspiracy to lead Pakistan to gradual extinction through weakening its economy.He said that MQM is the biggest obstacle in the way of anti-state powers and any conspiracy to weaken, break or disintegrate the country would be responded accordingly.
Pakistani nation is well aware of the enemies and friends of the country and they would not let any such attempt to prevail, he added.The MQM chief claimed that international powers were also plotting his murder. “I will embrace martyrdom, but will never make a compromise on my ideology, mission and objectives.”He urged his party’s activists to continue his struggle in line with his 35-years long teachings if he was assassinated. “If somebody thinks that Urdu-speaking people can be made slaves by force, he is mistaken,” he added.
