LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry has said that Quaid-i-Azam wanted a Pakistan that would be based on religious freedom where the Muslims of this region could live according to the Islamic principles.He said this at the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Lahore High Court.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was attended by the LHC judges, officials of the court and members of the LHC bar.The chief justice urged the people to work for an egalitarian society where everyone could have access to justice and people helped each other. The Chief Justice prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country.National anthem was also played on the occasion and a smartly turned out contingent of police presented guard of honour on the occasion. – Onlinenews
