ISLAMABAD: President Asif Zardari on Wednesday felicitated the PML-N leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on his unopposed election as his party’s President. President Zardari said that Nawaz Sharif’s unopposed election was a measure of trust reposed in him by his party.According to Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar, President Zardari expressed the hope that the PML-N under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif will continue to play a positive role in strengthening democracy, supremacy of Parliament and rule of law in the country as well as in promoting national reconciliation. – Onlinenews
