PM approves raise in pay package of NPA employees

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday approved enhancement in the pay package of the employees of National Police Academy (NPA), to bring it 20 percent above than that of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police.NPA is the national institute for training and imparting necessary skills to the police officers of the country.After increase in the salary of police personnel in Punjab, ICT and other police forces, the existing salary structure in the NPA was not commensurate enough to attract competent officers and staff for the institution. – APP
