President signs FATA/PATA Regulation bill

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of Prime Minister and on the recommendation of provincial Cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), signed Actions in Aid of Civil Power – 2011 Regulations Bill for FATA/PATA into Law at Bilawal House here on Thursday.Governor KPK, Barristar Syed Masood Kausar, Minister for SAFRAN Engineer Shaukat Ullah, Ms Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Secretary SAFRON Habib Ullah Khan were also present on the occasion.It may be added that the law was proposed by the provincial Cabinet of KPK, endorsed by the Governor KPK and by the Federal Cabinet. – APP
