Proposals for organs transplant law sent to PM, President

NA Committee has sent proposals to President and PM for implementating organs transplant law.Implementation on proposals would be reviewed at a separate session in three months.The Standing Committee for Human Rights met Wednesday under the chairmanship of Riaz Fatyana. The committee expressed concern over non-implementation of the organs transplant law.Committee member Kishwar Zuhra submitted documentary proofs regarding the illegal sale of human organs. The committee was told that some people were selling kidneys to foreigners for a meager amount of $6000, adding that a mafia of unscrupulous doctors was also involved in the shameful practice. – Dunyanews
